THE CREATION Inspired by today’s bold and irreverent young women, Christine Nagel, Hermès perfumer, created Twilly d’Hermès in 2017: the free spirit of a generation of girls who like to appropriate the codes of the maison. OLFACTORY NOTES A floral and spicy Eau de parfum that expresses its impertinent side with fresh ginger, light tuberose and milky sandalwood. THE OBJECT The iconic lantern-shaped bottle, designed by Florence Manlik, has a square form and a muted coral hue. A final whimsical detail: a hand-tied silk ribbon around the cap adds a playful touch. Each silk ribbon is unique. THE HERMÈS DETAIL The name of the Twilly d’Hermès perfume tribe evokes Hermès’ silk métier with two icons: the maison’s silk twill carré and the twilly, the cheerful and colorful little silk ribbon that can be worn in countless ways. “Thinking about young women, watching them live, I composed Twilly d’Hermès. They are free, fearless, mischievous and irreverent; they are connected, they defy expectations, they play against the wind, they impose their own rhythm, they invent a cadence never before seen.” Christine Nagel Inspired by this, Christine Nagel created Twilly d’Hermès. Ginger, tuberose, and sandalwood are transformed into burning heat, unsettling provocation, and revealing carnality. As a final touch, a hand-tied silk ribbon playfully outlines the bottle.
